A messy ER room. A story untold yet experienced so many times. This is an every day reality, a code at shift change, a rush to save a life and then just as fast as it happened, the room becomes empty. Void of the rush, the humans, the life. This is the moment of a deep sigh, and whether the sigh is triumph or defeat, the sigh is internal and eternal for the caregiver left looking at the remnants.
